FIN 311 Survey of Finance is an introduction to finance. It provides an overview of the different areas of finance and also serves as a foundation in the basic tools and techniques of finance. In addition, it covers the impact of markets and institutions on businesses.
Students should realize that this course is simply an introduction to financial topics. Many of the finer points of finance, in-depth concepts, and applications are covered in advanced finance classes.
This is a web-based course, which means that students must be self-directed to be successful in mastering course requirements. |
